Dermot Freeman who is an engineer, a natural teacher and mentor that has been involved in all aspects of Lean/Continuous Improvement over the last 40+ years. He is a Master Black Belt practitioner of Lean and has worked for Irish, German, Japanese and several American organisations across the food, medical device and FMCG sectors. He has worked with companies where Six Sigma was used and abused. He is a storyteller who brings to life Lean from personal experiences of making it real. He is also an ISO Lead Auditor and a Certified Scrum Master using the Lean techniques developed in the software development sector.
Dermot is comfortable working with Micro, SME and multinationals. He has trained and mentored various University Black Belt programs for the last 10 years.
