Lean in the Warehouse - Introduction :
This course introduces the core concepts of Lean (5S, Standard Work, Problem Solving, Visual management & Waste elimination) as they pertain within the supply chain and in particular to the warehouse & distribution functions. Taiichi Ohno, the Toyota engineer credited with creating many Lean tools, told his students that waste is easy to fix – the problem is seeing it. This course will pay attention to the typical wastes that are present in warehouse.
