Yet an overlooked key to production efficiency is the design of the manufacturing process, which must be developed as the new product is being developed. In this course, you will learn how to apply lean product development principles to manufacturing process development to decrease time to profit. This course also addresses those functions in product development that must run like operations functions, and how to manage the impact of workload volatility in these environments.
